ShIP (Shore power Inlet Protection) provides boat owners and marinas with valuable new protection against overheating of the power inlet.
ShIP will automatically disconnect AC shore power when excessive heat is detected at the power inlet, reducing the possibility of electrical fire. Audible and visual alarms notify occupants of unsafe conditions and of power shut down. To cover periods of time when your vessel is unoccupied, alarm outputs can be used to notify marina personnel or boat owners via hard-wired or wireless systems. In addition, the unit includes Reverse Polarity Indication and built in compliance with applicable ABYC recommendations.
